I have taken a few at home test and they all seem hi. Two of them directly after eating or with in half an hour of eating were 250. after about 4 hours it was 148. I was feeling a little shakey so i took the test and it said 63. I also did a moring fast and it was 93. I am unsure of how these number all go together but i have asked this question before and not reallty gotten any good answers. Does any have diabetes? Do i have diabetes possibly? I do have dry skin, exsesive thirst..but only pee like 5 times a day.

folic acid is essential for healthy brain and spine development in a fetus. It is a water soluble vitamin, which means your body will only absorb what it needs, and flush what it doesn’t. it is nearly impossible to take ‘too much’ folic acid.
The risk of spina bifida etc is greatly reduced when taking folic acid/folate. Because you’re over 30, you have a bigger risk for a baby with spina bifida or other NTDs. I would advise you listen to your doctor on this one

I am on both medications. I was having extreme muscle pains which I finally figured out was from the Cholesterol medication.

When checking your blood pressure, which number is the important one?

The first number is called systole. It’s a measure in mm of mercury of the force that your left ventricle has to push for your cardiac output to be stable. The second number is called diastole and that’s the force of blood when ventricles are relaxed. Normally it’s around 120 so 131 is a little high.If you don’t get that lowered, there are pretty good chances of you developing hypertension. Also, the higher your pulse, the harder the heart has to work to circulate blood throughout the body. At 5’4, your at a health weight. I’d suggest exercising more to strengthen heart. That way, it won’t have to work as hard and your pulse should come down.

You need to try to convince your parents to keep you on if they have it through work. Even if you have to pay them, it is worth it. I understand where you are coming from. Know that if you can’t get it through your parents, you will probably need to try to get on medicaid or a similar state program. Do not even waste your time applying for private health insurance. There is no way they will take you.

Diabetes is a disease with a fascinating history and one that has been growing dramatically with urbanization. There are some indications that PCOS can increase the risk of certain cancers. If you do not have periods, the endometrial layer of the uterus builds up. This is a situation that increases the risk of endometrial cancer.

Once diagnosis has been established, the doctor is likely to prescribe hormones to restore normal ovarian function and periods. Fertility drugs may also be prescribed. Surgery may be recommended if this approach does not work.

I have tried regular vegetarianism and just cutting out meat made my blood sugar drop dramatically. It was at 220-300. It dropped to 200 or below. It turns out that meat causes insulin resistance… Now, I need to go low carb too to get it lower. Anyone know any good recipes?
