i had a 24hr blood pressure monitor done and the dr said they only got 4 good readings. the machine was malfunctioning almost every time it went off. it was supposed to go off every 30 min, so that would mean there should be around 48 readings. the lab that did this said i will not have to re-do it. my dr ordered a 24 hr monitor for a reason, to monitor my bp throughout the whole day. 4 readings are not accurate enough. should i demand to re-do the test??
i have had extremely high blood pressure for the past 2 months and no one can figure it out. im on 2 medications, and im only 20 y/o. im under the care of 2 cardiologists and a general dr.

Does anyone have a blood pressure monitor they can (and are willing) to take their blood pressure with at home and give me the results?
If so, please sit down, wait 30 seconds to relax and take your blood pressure and then right after that reading please take it once more.
What are both the readings for you?
Then, please stand up and walk 10 feet and then 10 feet back and then pick up a big blanket(or two big pillows) and set it/them down on the bed or couch and then take your blood pressure while standing and give me that reading.
And lastly, please walk just 10 feet and stop and and while standing take your blood pressure and give that reading.
What are your readings? I want to know if my readings are normal and have no baseline to go by, so it would be nice if 5 or more could do this.
I take care of my Father and my blood pressure seems to be off lately and I just want to make sure I’m in good shape for him.

Well, it’s not literally bruised, but I can feel the heat and I can’t hold stuff very long.. I’ve been checking my blood pressure monitor like 10 times a day because I am obsessed with my numbers.. The people that checked my blood pressure said I have high blood pressure, but that was last week.. Today, I’ve checked it several times, and it came back 117/80, 128/85, 120/80, 130/90.. It varies.. Since college is over, my blood pressure has suddenly dropped. Should I stop taking my blood pressure? Cuzz my arm is kinda numb right now.
