The Use of Blood Pressure Monitors in Hypertension
My husbands doctor wants him to monitor is pressure its 20 points lower than at the doctor 145/95 and at home its 125/85 it says in book it can vary 30-50 points how can that be my husband just started pressure meds this week or is it that these at home monitors are not that good do you have to spend a lot of money to have it be better? When is the best time to take it thank-you
Is your blood pressure supposed to be lower when you laying in bed? I’m a 22yr old female, the reason I know this is I have a doctor prescribed blood pressure monitor.

We have to build a portable blood pressure monitor for a school project and we need to use a 5v pump to fill the cuff. Does anyone know where I can find something like this?
I have an automatic at-home blood pressure monitor and there are some times when it has an error reading because I have trouble with the arm cuff and strapping it on correctly. I usually wait about 2 minutes before repeating the reading and sometimes I will still mess up. There are times when I will take a reading on the same arm about 4-5 times within 15 minutes. My question is, can this be dangerous or harmful at all? Sometimes it will just leave me with a sore arm for a little while.
