If you can imagine a water bottle this size, I drunk about 10-15 bottles of water of that size. But today, I found that if you drink alot of water or have a craving of drinking something, that it may be a sign of diabetes.
Is this something I should worry about?
Should I go and check it out with a doctor or blow it off?

Consuming plenty of good quality water is healthy. But too much will eventually overload your kidneys. A diabetes test is fairly straight forward and is worth doing for peace of mind. I drink about 3 litres of water daily and people were saying to me that I definately have diabetes. I had a diabetes test and definately do not have diabetes !

According to your description, it seems that you are having Raynaud’s phenomenon, which is a vascular condition. you have to see a doctor to confirm it. You need to keep your feet warm.
If you have any risk factors of developing diabetes, you better get yourself checked. Have a Fasting Blood Sugar level tested, and you will know if you are a diabetic or not.

Don’t waste your money, dear. It would take a very expensive and specialized steth for you to hear your baby’s heartbeat, and honestly without training, YOU aren’t probably going to find it. Use the doppler at your doc’s office to hear it early and often.

ok every now in then along time ago my heels hurt all the time. well little bit later after that it stopped. now its happening again first time i noticed was running around and then i felt a sharp pain in my heal like someone stabbing me in the heel every time i walk down on it i thought it was nothing bad so next day started running again pain happened again now it is starting to hurt when i walk. it is in my right heel and the pain doesnt go away till morning or until i go to bed and stop walking. is this calcaneal problem or some type of heel injury.. how do i cure this heel problem dont say take a towel or somethin and stratch the foot did that and it hurt worse …….
It sounds like a bone spur / heel spur. I think lots of people get them but whether or not they get the pain symptoms is a toss up, and the pain can come and go. Some people get them so bad that they need to be surgically removed. It’s supposedly from walking/running a lot.

So I took the 1 hour test on Monday. The dr office called and said I failed, so I went in today for the 3 hour test. I live about 30 minutes from the hospital and by the time I got home, I was really sick (freezing, but badly sweating, couldn’t keep eyes open, couldn’t concentrate, shaking…). I quickly ate something, and then the phone rang and it was my dr’s office. They wanted to make sure I was ok and made it home, because the last blood draw showed a blood sugar level of 34. They said this was extremly low. The nurse who called would not really discuss the results and what it meant (said I had to talk to dr next Tues), although she did say she did not have the results of the other blood tests. She only knew about the low one, because the lab called because they were concerned. I guess I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Or if anyone else has had low blood sugar during pregnancy, and what they had to do to control it?
Yes keep some juice or a quick snack with you at all times in the car or your purse when your out cause you can get dizzy at a drop of a dime and trust me you don’t want that. Plus your doctor should discuss this further with you on next visit and subscribe meds I cant believe they let you leave before giving you your results this is really unsafe on their behalf because something serious could have happened and it would have been their fault. After I took my test they wouldn’t let me leave because mines was a little low so they brought me and orange and cheese and crackers and a juice and me and hubby stayed for about an hour after until I felt fine hope this helps you out.

In the past decade, the perspective of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) as a benign condition limited to pregnancy has evolved into a disease with significant implications for both mother and fetus. As such, it has become a condition relevant to medical specialties beyond obstetrics. Research on the pathophysiology and clinical management of women and children with GDM has increased dramatically, however postpartum management of women with GDM and their offspring still remains less covered by research and clinicians. Research is currently being conducted (in the HAPO study) with results available in early 2008 that are expected to further inform the field about the definition of diagnostic criteria of GDM that are related to their ability to predict perinatal complications. Simultaneously, from the clinical perspective, issues regarding diagnosis and management of GDM during pregnancy have been informed by recent information from clinical trials. Recently released information from the Human Genome Project on the location of diabetes genes is expected to inform the search for GDM loci. Finally, implications for postpartum diabetes prevention and glucose intolerance have also emerged, mainly from epidemiologic data, which suggest specific reshaping of policy for postpartum mothers. To date however, this information has not been consolidated into a single source and GDM information has been limited to a single chapter in various textbooks of diabetes. Efficient synthesis of the data and information from these diverse sources is crucial to effectively prioritize interventions and assemble resources for further research, ranging from further bench investigation to the implementation of public health programs.

About 75% of adults with diabetes have blood pressure levels =130/80 mmHg or use antihypertensive medication and this percentage goes up to 90% if microalbuminuria is also present.
