I have some heart problems and just started taking some new medications(coreg and lisinipril) everyonce in a blue moon i would have a problem getting it up before i started the meds, i would just write it off as a blood pressure problem and not worry about it because i had an understanding partner and it did not happen very often…….but now it has become a problem and it is starting to take a tole on the relationship. Sometimes it just wont go up or it will for only a minute then goes flacid again….any ideas? I cant take viagra because of my heart. No there isn’t. (it is usually pretty obvious) But you can buy the medication without a prescription so it’s all good. They almost never test or even look for thrush. You just say your symptoms and they believe you and give you the meds for it. They would only look or swab if it didn’t clear or was recurring.
Anyway you can say no. If you are bothered about your mom knowing then make something up, perhaps a urine infection set of symtoms would be a good alternative. Thrush can/does cause UTI like symptoms anyway.
FYI you should get over your embarrassment, you will need to sooner than later.
