The Use of Blood Pressure Monitors in Hypertension
For my final science project, I am taking the blood pressure of 6 students, three males, and three females. I hope to conclude whether the students blood pressure is higher in the morning before school, or after school in the afternoon.
My only issue is, that I have to tell how it applies to science. Does anyone have any idea of how blood pressure would apply to science?
I just got a good BP monitor. I wonder if I should take my BP sitting or laying down on the bed? Thanks

Additional Details
When I lay down the BP is like 10 point lower. So what should I consider as my BP the sitting or the lay down? Right now it is 142/95 sitting and when I lay down it drops to 130/85
I’m just wondering if a person can have lupus nephritis without ever developing hypertension?
I know that lupus itself does not necessarily to hypertension, but if you have kidney involvement, does that always cause hypertension, or can you have kidney involvement with developing high blood pressure?
I have been taking hypertension prescriptions for over 5 years. My Blood pressure is normal. How can I control my blood pressure with out taking prescription drugs?

I have somewhat high blood pressure right on the edge of being stage one hypertension. I don’t want to take medication because A.) I don’t have insurance at the moment and B.) Blood pressure medication is bad for the liver.
So the question is: how can I lower my blood pressure without using medication? Thanks!
I am wondering because I have a lot of anxiety and when I take my blood pressure it jumps around depending on how nervous I get. Sometimes it can be 140/90 and sometimes 121/76. I was wondering if I had Hypertension would my blood pressure ever be able to go down to normal or is it just always high for people with Hypertension? So if mine is 121/76 just once I should be OK?
