A while back my upper right arm and shoulder started hurting after I carried some large tree limbs for a friend. The doctor said just keep moving it so it wont get stiff. I am a diabetic. I was diagnosed when I was 18 and now I am 27. I was on medicine to begin with but now I am not. I was controling it with diet. In the past few months I have become very fatigued and always wanna sleep. I can not go without sleeping for 2 hours. My urine is always very dark in color and really sweet smelling. I have not been checking my blood sugar regularly because I have been preoccupied with school full time and work full time. Can this mean that my sugar has gotten out of hand. Oh yeah I have not been able to eat my 3 meals a day and no multi-vitamins are not working. If I do eat it may be one meal at 8pm or later. What does this mean. I was hoping I would not have to go to the doctor. The medicine is drag!! Please help!!

Nordic walking can be done year round in any climate and anywhere a person of any age or ability might otherwise walk without poles. It combines simplicity and accessibility of walking with simultaneous core and upper body conditioning similar to Nordic skiing. The result is a full-body walking workout that can burn significantly more calories without a change in perceived exertion or having to walk faster, due to the incorporation of many large core, and other upper-body muscles which comprise more than 90% of the body’s total muscle mass and do work against resistance with each stride. ‘Normal walking’ utilizes less than 70% of muscle mass with full impact on the joints of the legs and feet.
Nordic Ski Walking produces up to a 46% increase in energy consumption compared to walking without poles.[1]

Compared to regular walking, Nordic walking involves applying force to the poles with each stride.
