I don’t think it helps. If you’re a good parent and know how to talk to them, they shouldn’t do drugs. I’m feeling thirsty all the time and I’m fairly sure it cant be diabetes as: I am 20 years old, I had a blood test done before and I think it came back as low blood sugar. I’ve not lost weight and I’ve not been more tired than usual.

I actually do have a good diet: i have my 5 a day plus carbs and protein. They are normal portions just that i have a sweet tooth and like to indulge a little on the side.
Living 30mins from campus means that I do LOTS of walking throughout the day, the sweaty kind too as I am always late. Also constant grocery shopping , lifting etc. Although I am lazy at heart. =)
Severe spikes in sugar intake can kickstart latent Type 2 Diabetes. Also, low blood sugar can be an indicator of diabetes. However, given your youth, lack of tiredness or headaches, I’d say diabetes is unlikely. Still, a test to make sure never hurts.
At a guess though, I’d say your increased sugar intake has resulted in your saliva being thicker than normal, which can lead to feeling constantly thirsty. This is a common effect.
